We started over a year ago to create an innovative giving program that will appeal to our customers and match their digital lifestyles. Gift a smile initiative is an innovative way for net savvy consumers to gift instantly, directly and conveniently to a cause of their choice, even in remote locations, at the click of a button, knowing that the NGO needs it and trusting that Amazon will deliver it. Presently the program has 29 NGO partners and thousands of smiles have been gifted by our customers to support their programs. The program is implemented in partnership with CAF India.

Our community driven agenda arises out of the needs of the people and is focused on high impactful reforms. To carry out some of these initiatives to fruition we partner with select organizations. Our partnership with Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) is a testament of two organizations synergizing to making India’s rural communities healthier through a cleaner environment. By facilitating our collaboration with Gramalaya, CAF helped us in finding the right implementation partner.
— Vineet Mittal , Vice Chairman Welspun Renewables
At Aon, serving communities is as important as serving clients and colleagues. To achieve this objective CAF India is helping and supporting us to take appropriate decisions. Their experience and knowledge is great help for us as we build our long term sustained strategy to contribute to society.

CAF India is a great enabler. Some of the rare skills that they bring to table in making CAF a thoroughly professional outfit are keeping things simple, people building, unmatched compassion for the disadvantaged, empathy for the partners in the field and unrelenting commitment to their stated mission. I wish them very best in all their missions.
— Suman Christopher Malladi , Founder, CHORD
Our continuing association with CAF India over the last 5 years has been a great source of encouragement for ETASHA and a boon for the youth, their families and in fact the entire slum community they live in. The impact of school-passed youth getting gainful employment in the organised sector is enormous.
— Dr. Meenakshi Nayar , Founder, ETASHA
Asha Chennai chapter is somewhat new to CSR funding, especially from a multi-national organisation like Oracle. The evaluation done by CAF India on our organisation was extremely meticulous. This helped us see ourselves from the perspective of a donor organization. We collected a lot of information from our parent organisation that we ourselves were not aware, existed! It helped us think more about how we do our work and how we communicate about ourselves. I believe the throughness of CAF India's verification will stand us in good stead in our future fund raising efforts.
— Rajaraman Krishnan , Founder, Asha Chennai
Working with Charities Aid Foundation India means sharing the accountability of your project with an equally driven and committed team where the true essence of the partnership is realised. As an outcome of this association, programme implementation and compliance gets more streamlined for the partners like us, who are into direct service delivery.

Bhumi's educational programme has been benefiting 3,000 underprivileged children over the last two years and Oracle's grant has strengthened our work immensely. We have also been able to expand the reach of the programme to more children across the 12 cities we work in. Thank you Oracle for your invaluable support and trust in Bhumi, and our volunteers. Several hundred children will now have a greater chance of a brighter future. Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) India's support in helping us simplify the process is much appreciated, and we wholeheartedly thank the team for its promptness in communication and overall support.
— Vaishnavi Srinivasan , Executive Director, Bhumi
